FAMILIE GREIF
The design deficit of everyday aids
Interaction with physical products is usually manual.
However, not everyone uses them in the same way.
Familie Greif makes it easier for users with motor impairments to open standard glass bottles and creates inclusive access. Thanks to the enlarged gripping surface and the moulds, the gripping aids are comfortable to hold and enable effective power transmission. Bottle caps with the standard PP28
thread type can be used individually. The design and colour language loosens up the functionality of conventional aids.
An aid that not only exists in a medical context, but can also
be used in everyday life thanks to its unobtrusive functionality and universal design. The individual moulds are CNC-milled from industrial cork.
