Use Waste as Energy

Disposing of organic waste far from civilization is challenging. Removed from the material cycle, it negatively impacts the environment. Organic Cycle focuses on the recycling and transportability of organic waste during nature trips. Energy is abstract – communicating the energy potential promotes awareness of biowaste as a recyclable material. A systemic approach supports a self-sufficient energy supply for accommodations and fosters an interactive exchange between travelers and hosts. A valve allows gases produced during decomposition to escape, while the nutrient-rich liquid serves as fertilizer. The project aims to achieve the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 15.
