Connecting Urban Trees and Humans

The urban tree as an ecological all-rounder is essential for future life in urban areas. During longer periods of drought, young trees in particular need support as their root system is not yet fully developed. Civil society involvement and participatory processes are essential for successful climate change adaptation. Waterplant provides incentives for irrigating young urban trees and raising awareness about tree health in urban areas. The system is placed on young trees, with water being poured into the blossom, while the root waterer ensures efficient irrigation. Waterplant contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11.
